TRANSPORTATION
There are two transport options available for Tarawera Legacy participants.

Self Drive
Visitors can use their own transportation and visit the three attractions in their own time. The roads between the attractions are well sign-posted and maps are available for self drive visitors. Suggested Self Drive Itineraries »

Tarawera Legacy Shuttle Service
A Shuttle Service is also available for visitors. The service includes pick up from accommodation, drop off and pick up from each attraction and drop off back at accommodation.

Timetable

9.15am	Pick up from accommodation Approx: 20 minute drive
9.20am	Arrive @ Rotorua Museum Approx: 2 hour tour/visit of attraction
11.20am	Pickup from Rotorua Museum Approx: 15 minute drive
11.35am	Arrive @ Buried Village Approx: 2 hour tour/visit of attraction
1.30pm	Pickup from Buried Village Approx: 15 minute drive
1.45pm	Arrive @ Whakarewarewa Thermal Village Approx: 2 hour tour/visit of attraction
3.30pm	Pickup from Whakarewarewa Thermal Village Drop-offs

Escorted Tours
A fully escorted tour is available for the Tarawera Legacy. Your private guide will escort you though all three attractions and interpret the spectacular scenic locations on your journey.
